We who seek Thy heavenly gaze

Who are but lost in a sinful maze

Let us stop to sneak a peek

One glance would full us through the years

Giving us strength to stand our mournful tears

Thine truth, Thine truth, Thee cut me quick

My falsehoods give way with each quip

Thy loving eyes cut me to my heart

Peaceful healing can now start
